Plot summary for Ghosted

Cole operates a farm. While he doesn’t act impulsively or travel much, he does enter into a relationship right away after meeting someone. He decides to make changes the next time because his previous lover left him because he was too clingy. He meets Sadie, and they hit it off right away. Cole genuinely believes that this may go someplace after their wonderful day together. Although he makes an effort to play it off, over the course of three days, he texts her so frequently that Cole’s family begins to suspect Sadie of ghosting him.

Cole seizes the chance to do something impulsive and demonstrate to Sadie that he is capable of taking chances when he learns that she is in London. He enters a trap that has been set up for the taxman. Terrorists kidnap him in exchange for the passcode to a case containing a biological weapon. Sadie saves him but is aware that the threat is still present.

Does Leveque Die in the Ghosted ending? (Explaining the Ghosted Ending)

Cole learns he was mistaken for someone else when he gets kidnapped in London. Cole has no idea who they are referring to when they say they think he is the Taxman. Later, he learns that Sadie is the owner of the codename. She has been sent to retrieve Aztec as a CIA agent. In order for him to sell it to the highest bidder, she explains that a man by the name of Leveque is the owner. Because he lacks the passcode, he hasn’t been able to accomplish that. He is after Cole because he thinks the Taxman has it.

Sadie and the CIA feel that Cole and his family won’t be secure until they have found the people pursuing him since Cole’s opponents think he is the Taxman. Sadie devises a strategy to entice their adversaries once they realise that the amaranth plant’s genetic sequence serves as the passcode. There are four separate elements to the passcode. To demonstrate that the Taxman is willing to sell the code for a high price, she sends Leveque one portion. (Explaining the Ghosted Ending)

Her authorities sanction the mission’s execution but forbid Sadie from taking part. Cole is necessary since Leveque and his companion will only work with the Taxman, as they are known to them. Sadie, however, has been the subject of an official investigation and has been placed on leave while everything is investigated. While attempting to save Cole, she let Leveque’s men escape while she still had Aztec in her grasp. (Explaining the Ghosted Ending)

Leveque and a meeting are scheduled in the Skydome restaurant, and Cole is dispatched there with three agents protecting him. Cole worries about the safety precautions around him, but the CIA doesn’t appear overly bothered about it. They are wrong, as Cole arrives at the rendezvous point and immediately after, all three operatives are dead. He is aware that his cover is no longer there, yet he chooses to move forward with the plan anyhow since he has no other choice. His family can only be saved by doing this. Additionally, he thinks Sadie will find him. (Explaining the Ghosted Ending)

When Sadie enters the scene in the middle of the transaction, his faith has paid off. Leveque has gone hostile at this point. Sharing the passcode was a trap to get him and his men, he knew, but now that Cole is by himself, he starts to feel more at ease. He intends to kill the Taxman after obtaining the code. But as soon as Sadie shows up, she seizes the initiative, especially once she admits that she—not Cole—is the Taxman.

For the remainder of the code, Sadie asks ten million dollars. Leveque gave away money despite being with his buyer, Mr. Utami, who had grown impatient. If Leveque had been alone, he would not have done so. Utami wires Sadie the funds as soon as she opens the case. Leveque is hesitant to let them go even though the deal is finalised. At this point, Sadie admits that she has previously put a $10,000,000 reward on Leveque before entering the location. (Explaining the Ghosted Ending)

The location of Leveque was made known to the bounty hunters, and as she had anticipated, a sizable number of them had arrived to apprehend Leveque and collect the reward. Everyone takes out a gun as a result, which makes the mood in the diner tense. The figures are balanced. The men of Leveque and Utami are opposed to the bounty hunters. They only need to take Aztec and flee. In the fight, it is less straightforward.

Sadie and Cole become involved in the altercation in which neighbours start dying one by one. Leveque eventually gets his hands on Aztec, but Cole and Sadie manage to take it away from him as he plummets through the restaurant’s glass window. There is no way Leveque couldn’t have survived it, especially considering that he drops from a great height and that the walls were whirling when he dropped off. He passes away, along with everyone else who thought Cole was the Taxman. With this, Cole is liberated from the CIA and its activities, and his family is protected from the bad guys attempting to assassinate him. (Explaining the Ghosted Ending)

Cole and Sadie reconcile in the end?

Cole and Sadie don’t get along at all when they first meet. Cole refuses to offer Sadie a houseplant when he knows she won’t be able to care for it out of moral propriety. They dispute until Cole’s friend, the real owner, arrives and decides to sell the plant to Sadie nevertheless. She also mentions that Cole would be tempted to take Sadie out on a date given the sexual tension implied by their dialogue.

Fortunately, they succeed in their gamble, and they have a blast together. Cole thinks Sadie is the one, and she later admits she had considered phoning him back. However, after sending her so many messages that she became annoyed, he followed her to London and caused a mess for both of them that she wanted to sort out right away. She also discloses that she had Cole examined and found that he had made a few false statements. She anticipated that he would behave like a cactus, not requiring much care and capable of surviving while she was gone. But by capturing her photo while she was sleeping and then following her to London, he displays himself to be clingy and a bit of a creep. (Explaining the Ghosted Ending)

Cole comes to the realisation that Sadie is not as competent as he had assumed she was during the mission. He learns that she is still emotionally detached, especially from her ex-boyfriends, and that she always puts the mission above other people. She didn’t save him because she was fond of him.

She did it because Aztec was the target of her capture. He eventually comes to the conclusion that her dread of losing people may have something to do with his emotional inaccessibility. Because she had lost her mother when she was a very young child, she now pushed people away whenever she felt a strong connection to them in order to prevent herself from being overly attached and experiencing the sorrow of losing them.

Sadie ultimately decides to save Cole, demonstrating her concern for him. He is aware that Sadie will be away due to her employment, therefore he must control his neediness. As they confront what is preventing them from moving forward, their trip enables them to recognise one other’s worst traits. It is revealed in the climactic scene that they had chosen to give their relationship another opportunity.

Cole left the farm and is now writing his book. Sadie manages to strike a balance between her personal and professional lives, even if it involves imprisoning a target in the trunk of the car while she goes on a date with her boyfriend. (Explaining the Ghosted Ending)
